Shipping

Ships only to the U.S. Additional shipping cost will be added at checkout. Artwork will be shipped out of Margaret’s studio in Santa Clara, CA according to the size of the artwork and location of the client. Added insurance is included in the cost of all original artwork. Ships within two weeks.

Returns and Exchanges

While Margaret does her best to have clear and accurate photos, color nuances cannot be captured perfectly by digital media and can vary from screen to screen. For additional photos and closeups, please email Margaret and she will be happy to provide the additional photos. Original paintings cannot be returned if you change your mind.

At this time, we cannot accept returns or exchanges; please try to understand that this is a small business and is limited in the services that it can provide. However, a refund or replacement will be provided the item if it was a mistake was made on my end such as sending the wrong item. Send an email to margaret.luo.art@gmail.com using the email you used to purchase the item with the subject “Incorrect item received” and I will be happy to assist you!

For original paintings and commissions damaged during shipping, please send an email to margaret.luo.art@gmail.com using the email you purchased your painting with the subject “Damaged Painting” and include photos of the damages within five (5) days of the delivery of the painting to work out a refund and return. Once your photos of the damages are reviewed and the return is approved via email, you will receive a prepaid label for the return of the painting in it’s original packaging. Once the painting is received, you will be refunded the full purchase amount including initial shipping fee to ship the painting to you.

For prints damaged during shipping, please send an email to margaret.luo.art@gmail.com using the email you purchased your print with the subject “Damaged Print” and include photos of the damages within five (5) days of the delivery of the print to work out a refund. No return of the damaged prints will be necessary. Once your photos of the damages are reviewed and the return is approved via email, you will be refunded the full purchase amount including the shipping fees to ship the print to you.

Commissions

If you would like to discuss a commission with me, please reach out via the commission request form on my website. I will respond to your request via email in a few business days to further discuss the commission process with you. Please note that I retain all rights to reproduce your painting, including but not limited to stickers and prints. 

What is 7% for the Ocean?

As an avid swimmer and former public health policy data scientist, ocean conservation, public health, and the intersection of the two are very important to me. I donate 7% of all sales to the a non-profit of my choosing that supports ocean protection and conservation. This year, I will supporting The Surfrider Foundation. The Surfrider Foundation a non-profit environmental organization that is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network.
